Thankful for the Purple Moments {Shoot. Edit. Submit.}
Edited using the “Barn Wall” texture from CoffeeShop Barn Textures While walking through the woods at the Conservation Center, I saw this sweet little purple flower poking its head through the dead leaves and grass. I almost overlooked it because the flower was so tiny and delicate, just barely visible. As I studied the flower, I wondered how many others had passed it by? How many people had missed the beauty of this little spot of purple amid all the brown? Egg~Head {Shoot. Edit. Submit.}
The theme for week 5 of Project 52 is Surreal. And I had some really great ideas but I couldn’t figure out how to go through with the execution, so last night, this was what I came up with: I merged a picture of myself and a cracked eggshell using Photoshop Elements 10, then I applied the Orton Effect. I wish I had lightened the colors a little so you could see the grass and everything, but I think the darkness gives it a haunting surreal quality. What do you think? I was never much of a pink lipstick girl. I prefer browns and berries but lately, I’ve been playing around with brighter/softer colors. Snow Cover {Shoot. Edit. Submit.}
