Can you believe we’re a little over a week away from 2025? I feel like 2024 just flew by. I’m trying to remember all the things that happened this year and all I’m getting is a blur. A big ol’ fuzzy blur. This is not a good feeling, especially since I know I accomplished something. I had to have, right? Right? Right.

Vision Board Bingo 2025 Goal Setting {living outside the stacks} Follow @DaenelT on Instagram

Anyway, I’ve decided that 2025 is going to be different. I want to be able to look back at the end of the year and see all the bright spots. To that end, I’ve customized my iPad so that it works much like an interactive digital journal. My plan is to set some attainable goals and write down one good memory from each day {I’ll share more on this in another post}. Today I want to share my Vision Board Bingo Card.

What is Vision Board Bingo

I learned about Vision Board Bingo from @betweensipsandpages , who I discovered on TikTok. Vision Board Bingo basically takes the idea of a bucket list or a goal list and gamifies it by turning it into a bingo card. Fun, right? BetweenSipsandPages has been doing the Bingo Card for about 2 years now and has really gotten into a groove. Her card has 25 blocks aimed at supporting and promoting her small business. If you listen to her TikTok, you’ll hear that she’s a big proponent of “Treat Yourself” when you get Bingo. Whenever she gets Bingo, she buys herself something like a Coach bag or tickets to her favorite podcast. I ain’t mad at her. I honestly love it.

My Vision Board Bingo Card

In the past, I’ve tried creating those pretty little vision boards, but they never really worked for me. The process was a little too intimidating for me. Then I came across the Vision Board Bingo Card and I was like YES, THIS IS IT! I CAN DO THIS!

The concept is easy: you write out your goals on a Bingo card and cross them off as you accomplish them. And, when you get Bingo, you treat yourself. I’m not sure exactly what my treats will be, but I’m thinking along the lines of clothes or shoes. Or a funky piece of jewelry. I don’t know. I know I’ll find something I want. I always do.

The first few cards I created had year-long goals but I had to change it up and add in a mix of smaller and long-term goals. Here are my goals for 2025:

  • Read the Bible daily – I downloaded a Bible journal to assist with tracking what I’ve read.
  • Go on Vacation with The Hubs – I’m not sure where I want to go or what I want to do, I just know I want to go on a real vacation.
  • Lose a 1 lb a week – I need to lose weight. I have so many wonderful clothes that I can no longer fit and it’s incredibly frustrating.
  • Go to and document 4 city events – We live in Alexandria, Louisiana, and there are a lot of community events that I see advertised on Facebook and I never go. That changes in 2025.
  • Document outfits for 1 week – This goes along with losing weight. Not only will I have a record of my outfits, I’ll have a record of my changing body.
  • Visit Symone, Brandon, Reka, and Bryanna – My non-negotiables for this year are to visit my kids who live out of state and take Jazmine, the daughter who lives here, to lunch.
  • Crochet a Granny cardi – I keep seeing all of these fabulous vintage looking Granny Square cardigans and I figured rather than buy one, why not make one? I know how to crochet.
  • Read 1 book per month – I have a reading journal that I’ve downloaded to my iPad to keep track of the books I’ve read. I’m also going to do a better job of reviewing and sharing the reviews here {that’ll help immensely with my goal of posting once a week}.
  • FREE – Not sure what I’m going to use this space for, so I’m leaving it empty for now.
  • Exercise 3x a week – I’m going to track this in the habit tracker that came with my Artful Agenda subscription.
  • Work from a coffee shop – I’ve probably romanticized this, but it just looks so cool, sitting there with the laptop open, a cup of coffee and a pastry off to the side…
  • Post to the blog 1 time per week – I pay to host this blog and I’m not getting my money’s worth, so I need to start posting on a regular basis.
  • No fast food for a week – It’s so easy to get stuck in that cycle of lose a pound, eat fast food, get frustrated because of poor choices, and quit everything. I want a nutritional reset.
  • Record a memory a day – Sometimes it’s hard to remember the good that happens, so I want to make a concerted effort to do so. Every day, I either want to write a quick sentence or have a little photograph of something good that happened.
  • Use my planner weekly – I always feel like I’m forgetting something or that I’m supposed to be somewhere, so I’ve downloaded a planner/journal and I want to use it. This is also where I’ll document my memory.
  • Participate in a social media challenge – I want to do something fun.
  • Present at a conference – This is a professional goal. I enjoyed guesting on the Listen with LOUIS podcast and it made me realize that I really do have something to offer the library community.
  • Learn a new Canva skill – I create a lot of graphics for the college and they’re starting to look stale. I want to learn some tricks to help freshen up our feed.
  • Complete a weekly photography project – I haven’t picked up my camera to complete a personal project in mooooonths. It’s time.
  • Volunteer – I really just want to give back and I feel like this is really going to be needed in 2025.
  • Discover a new podcast – I’ve given up on the news, which means I’ve ditched a lot of the podcasts that I used to listen to, so I need something new to feel those spots. I’m looking for something entertaining and educational.

Staying on Track

I’ve talked to a few people about their vision boards and they said the key to the vision board is keeping it where you can see it. I use my iPad daily, so I thought that’d be the perfect place for me to keep it. So I added a little copy of it to my iPad’s home screen. I also plan to add a copy of my bingo card to my cell phone too.

How to I Made My Vision Board Bingo Card

I used Canva to make my Vision Board Bingo card. In fact, Canva even has a free Bingo Card generator that I just found out about, aaaaafter I put in all the hard work to create my own from scratch. How you decorate your card is totally up to you. I opted to use line drawings along with text to spell out my goals and then add a little digital sticker that I purchased from KezaKuDesign on the side {I adore these stickers and they’ll be showing up in my reading journals as well}. Overall, I’m pleased with the way my

You’ll want to keep few things in mind when making your Vision Board Bingo Card:

  • Fill in your goals using the SMART method, meaning they are Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound. I had to go back in an adjust my goals several times because many of them were just too open ended. By “containing” your goals, you make it more likely that you’ll achieve them.
  • Choose your marker. Decide what you’ll use to mark off each block as you accomplish your goal. Since my bingo card is a digital one, I’m going to use digital stickers. I’m thinking little coffee cups or something cute like that.
  • Reward yourself whenever you get BINGO. Your rewards can be big or small, just make sure that it’s special and not something you’d do or buy on a regular basis.
  • Make it social. While some of your goals may be personal, we all know that having an accountability partner helps. While you don’t have to put your card on the online, sharing with a trusted friend will provide you with the support and encouragement you may need.

Final note: Feel free to adjust your bingo card as necessary. While I like what I have so far, I know that my goals will change throughout the year, which means I’ll be doing all sorts of tweaking. You can see the different iterations of my Bingo card by looking at my iPad image versus the other images.
