February 10 on the 10th: Would You Rather, Valentine’s Day Edition

I’m a week late, but here it is, my contribution to this month’s 10 on the 10th, the Valentine’s Day edition.

THE PROMPT: Would you rather…

1. Would you rather celebrate Valentine’s Day at a cozy restaurant or at home cozied up in your favorite jammies?
   Give me a pair of cozy jammies any day. I hate being cold and going outside in February {even in Louisiana} means you may be dealing with frigid temps.  I want my flannels, fuzzy socks, and a cozy blanket.
2. Would you rather eat Red Velvet Cake or wear red velvet?
   If you’ve been around here before, you know I love myself some velvet {for proof, check here, here, and here}, that being said, give me a big ol’ honkin’ slice of Red Velvet Cake.
3. Would you rather receive a heart shaped box of candy or a heart shaped piece of jewelry?
   I love jewelry. In fact, I still wear a silver heart that my kids bought for me at the school store when they were in elementary school, they’re all in their late twenties and thirties now.
4. Would you rather eat Reese’s Pieces or a Reese’s Peanut Butter Heart?
   Neither. Give me a brownie, preferably from Outback Steakhouse. I big puffy heart those things.
5. Would you rather watch Valentine’s Day themed movie or an action movie?
   Action movies, all day, every day. I tried watching movies on the Hallmark channel but gave up about 15 minutes into it because I just couldn’t handle the sappiness.
6. Would you rather give a box of chocolates to your person or a less than wonderful homemade card?
   The Hubs would love love love if I gave him a bag of Dove chocolates. In fact, I usually pick him up a bag when I go to the store. He doesn’t eat them all {I nibble all. the. time.} but he likes having them in his home office.
7. Would you rather go to Tahiti or Iceland for Valentine’s Day?
   If I had to pick one, I guess Tahiti. I don’t know.
8. Would you rather sing “At Last” by Etta James or “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing” by Aerosmith to your person?
   I’m a terrible singer and wouldn’t be able to do either song justice, but I’d have to give Etta’s song a try. I love her. Have you ever heard I’d Rather Go Blind? Oh, my word, that song….
9. Would you rather celebrate Valentine’s Day for a week or not at all?
   Not at all. To be honest, I hate Valentine’s Day. Possibly even more than I have Halloween.
10. Would you rather eat a really sour piece of candy or a single Brussels Sprout dipped in chocolate?
    It depends on the sour candy. I really like Sweet Tarts and Sour Apple Jolly Ranchers. They’re so good.
