Where Bloggers Live: What’s in My Refrigerator?
As the blogger and photographer behind Living Outside the Stacks, I independently select and write about stuff I love and things I think you’ll enjoy too. Living Outside the Stacks has affiliate and advertising partnerships so I get revenue from sharing this content and from your purchase. Thank you for your support. I don’t know why, but I feel like I’ve written something like this before… If I have, hopefully, my refrigerator looks better, cleaner, more full? I don’t know. It is a couple of days after pay day, so we have stuff. Yay, us. So, keep reading to find out what’s in my refrigerator… ABOUT WHERE BLOGGERS LIVE Welcome…

This Week’s Fave Photos {This or That Thursday}
Hi, everyone! I hope you’ve had a pleasant week. Things have been going really well over here. So many exciting things are happening: I was selected to be one of 50 female bloggers to join Team #Cinchspiration in a weight loss blogging program (you can read about that here). I’m going to need lots of cheerleaders, so please join me on Facebook, Pinterest and/or Twitter. Now on to this week’s This or That photos… I’m just sharing some of my favorite photos from this week, you know pictures that for whatever reason haven’t made it to my blog. Hope you enjoy… Nothing special, just trying to find the beauty in the…

Veggie Lasagna {Meatless Monday}
It’s been a long time since I’ve posted about Meatless Monday, I guess because we’ve mostly been eating soups on those days but last night was totally different. I made a Veggie Lasagna that was to die for… OK, truth, the girls and I loved it, the guys not so much. So while it may not be a total guy pleaser, I think it’s well worth trying. Ingredients 4 Zucchini (sliced) 1 Green Pepper (diced) 1 Red Onion (diced) 1 Package Frozen Spinach (defrosted) Mushrooms (sliced) Garlic Powder Salt & Pepper 1 Package lasagna noodles 2 (15 oz) Ricotta Cheese 1 Package Mozzarella Cheese 3 Eggs 1 (26 oz) can…

Randomness {This or That Thursday}
Has this week flown by or what? I’m trying to remember what I could have done to make it go by so quickly but, yeah, I got nothing. Maybe it’s just that I’m getting older and time flies… I’m finally starting to branch out and get a little more creative with my self portraits. It’s nice to do more than take pictures of my face. Thank you, Creators of Photoshop. Do you see all those buttons? Aren’t they pretty? I originally bought them to use as accessories on scarves that I crochet but I’ve stopped crocheting so now I have a ton of buttons just sitting in a drawer. I’m…

Things Happened While I Was Disconnected
So much has happened in the last week and a half that I’ve been disconnected. Â Most of it’s been good, some of it’s been bad and the rest has been seriously? Â I had planned to write out a post for each and every thing that happened but decided against it. Â You know, for my own sanity. Â And because I don’t want to overwhelm you with the craziness that is my life right now. So here’s a bit of the happenings from the past few days: We have a home ~ When we moved here, we didn’t have a home. Â We had the possibility of a home but nothing definitive. Â I…

Shopping in NEPA: KB’s Coffee House
I’ve lived in the Back Mountain for 13 years now and in that time I’ve started taking the beauty of this place for granted.  This is a small community where everyone pretty much knows everyone and small town values are still upheld. I love that small town feel, especially when I’m looking for a place to just hang out and relax. I’m a coffee drinker.  Big time.  In fact, I used to drive a little over 10 miles just to get a cup of joe from one of those big name places but I wanted to find a place close to home, you know a place where everybody knows my name.…
