Hi, and welcome to Coffee Talk. In case you’re new here, this is where I share some of the great and not~so~great stuff that I find on the web. Topics range from news stories that leave me scratchin’ my head to DIYs that I think are absolutely clever. And, who knows, there may even be a recipe thrown in here or there just for fun.

1. Are you pregnant? Do you dig original art? Well, now you can have your placenta turned into a Tree of Life Print. dry heaves Seriously, who looked at their placenta and thought this is totally craft worthy? thoughtful pause I assume the same folks who thought, I’m hungry and this bloody veiny mass looks nomtastic, maybe I’ll have a nibble. I guess having a kid for eighteen years isn’t enough of a souvenir anymore. I don’t get it…
2. Do you change out your home’s accessories with the seasons? Adding Placenta Prints does not count. I never have before but this year, I thought I’d switch things up and bring in more saturated colors. Maybe I’ll post some pictures. I’d be interested in seeing how you’ve decorated your space. 3. Did you know yesterday was National Coffee Day? I celebrated with 2 cups of coffee and an addition to my “I Heart Coffee” stream on flickr. I think next year I’m going to try to do 365 days of coffee. I’m being ambitious. I have yet to succeed at a daily posting. Have you ever tried a daily something? How’d you do with it?
