A Day in My Life in Pictures
The other day, I read a guest post on i heart faces by Jason Zimmerman about how to capture a day in your life using pictures. I absolutely loved his pictures and decided to give it a try. My pictures didn’t come out as great, interesting or fascinating as his did but it’s my life and I love it. And um, capturing a day in your life in photographs is harder than I thought. I promise I haven’t given up writing for capturing souls with that magic box, it’s just that I’ve been busy taxiing kids, touring Missouri and trying to keep all the other knives that I juggle up in the air. Really, motherhood is not easy. 1. I’ve been in Missouri since Thursday ~ flew in first class… So. Much. Leg. Room. 1.On Friday I received a beautiful ‘Heart of Haiti’ pendant in the mail in exchange for a post that I’d written on behalf of Macy’s, as I read the thank you letter, I couldn’t help but to cry thinking about the artisans who create the pendants. These are women who create handmade works of art to support themselves and their children. Items range in price from about $8 to about $280. I’m not receiving any compensation for this, I just think this is a terrific cause. 2. I bribe my kids.
