It feels so good to be participating in Scavenger Hunt Sunday again. I haven’t joined in since April. Yesterday, I got to spend some one~on~one time with the boy. It’s rare that he and I spend time hanging out with each other. I’m so not into video games and he could care less about crocheting. I didn’t really do much this week, between the chilly weather and being a bit lethargic, I just haven’t gotten out much. Last night, we went to church {the second night of our men’s conference} and I wore the shoes above. I’ve had them for at least 3 or 4 years, an impulse buy while visiting my sister in Tennessee. I thought boot wearing weather had come to an end. Does boot wearing weather every really come to an end though? It’s bordered on freezing here. OK, slight exaggeration but after the near 80s we were having, the 50s and 60s feels kinda frigid. Has the weather done a sudden flip where you are too? Bad Hair Day + Cute Shoes = Balance?
Today was one of them days. I had an appointment with the endocrinologist ~ stupid nonexistent thyroid is making me crazy again. After talking to the doctor, we’ve decided the best course of action is to lower my meds and try to get my thyroid levels under control. But you know what was bothering me more than my thyroid {or lack there of} this morning? My hair. Yes, y’all, I was having the mother of bad hair days today. My Weekend {Instagram Edition}
How was your Easter weekend? Ours was pretty nice. Church was incredible ~ how could it not be, we’re serving a risen savior!? The kids and I enjoyed a wonderful French Toast breakfast prepared for us by the hubs. Seriously, moving to Missouri has brought out some hidden culinary skills in that man.
