1. Soon after the kids started taking health and sex ed courses, we made a list of words that were banned from the house; at the top of that list was the word “moist”. shudder Over the years, the word has made it’s way into conversation, most notably at Thanksgiving dinner when my parents, sister, and her family were all gathered around the table. We Ended Up in the Wrong State, But We Had Fun #NaBloPoMo
I have the sense of direction of a monkey in hurricane. But I haven’t always been this way. Years ago, I used to hop in my car, strap my then 6~month~old into her car seat and drive all over the South. And this was before cell phones and Mapquest. Before GPS and turn~by~turn directions. So much has happened in the last week and a half that I’ve been disconnected. Most of it’s been good, some of it’s been bad and the rest has been seriously? I had planned to write out a post for each and every thing that happened but decided against it. You know, for my own sanity.
