There’s nothing new to report. My weight is holding steady at 155.6 lbs and has been for the last week and a half. I’m OK with that. As long as the number isn’t going up, I can deal. I’m still working on eating more vegetables. I don’t know why that’s such a difficult thing for me but it is. So my goal for this week is to work harder on increasing my fruit and veggie intake. I will also continue my daily walks with my co~workers and work harder at hitting 10,000 steps. I don’t have any weight loss pictures this week. See what had happened was… Um, I simply didn’t take any. I’m not gonna lie, I’m not happy with my progress so far. I thought this far into the Cinch Inch Weight Loss Program that I would have lost a decent amount of weight. Instead, I seem to keep losing the same 3 lbs over and over again. Not fun. In fact, it’s quite frustrating. So, ummmmm, no scale picture today. But I will provide an update anyway. I’ve gained 1.4 lbs since last week but I’m not sweating it. Why, you may ask? Because I’ve lost 2 inches off my waist! Yes, 2 whole inches. I am beyond thrilled. Last week I bought a pair of jeans that were a little snug so that I wouldn’t have to wear a belt (a fashion thing, I hate wearing belts especially when they leave that lumpy buckle under my tees)… Anyway, I now need a belt to keep my pants up. I have not exercised at all. Last week, our church was crazy busy and I was just making it home from work with enough time to shower, make dinner for the family and get out of the house, so that left little time for anything else. Confession: On days when I haven’t had time to cook, I’ve eaten fast food. This week will also be pretty busy, so I’m going to have to set my alarm a little earlier and get up to do something. So it seems I’ve reached the dreaded plateau. My weight seems to have gotten stuck between 156 lbs and 158 lbs. I guess I should be happy that I’m not gaining, but I thought for sure I would’ve broken that 155 lb barrier by now.I’m more than a bit disappointed to say the least. I think I’m going to have to look at my calorie intake and see if I need to add more calories. I’m currently holding steady between 1200 and 13oo calories and I know that too little calories can cause your body to retain weight instead of losing it. I may need to bump it up by…

Wow! I cannot believe it’s been a month already! Gosh, the time has just flown by so quickly. That means that it’s time for me to do the whole full picture and measurement thing. Big heavy sigh. Honestly, it’s not that bad. It’s just that it’s still a little unnerving to put everything out there for everyone to see. So, there I am, in all of my glory. MapMyFITNESS Quaker Challenge Update
Do you remember my wake up call photo? If not, go here and take a peek. What a difference two weeks can make! Here’s this week’s photo: I’m down 2 lbs and 2 inches around the waist. I’ve also worked out twice a day for 8 out of the 14 days. The last few days I’ve had some sort of weird bug that will not go away. Biggest Loser Pound for Pound Challenge
Trying. To. Pull. Up. My. Jeans. And it just ain’t happening... I’m finally too big to fit in my “fat jeans”. Yesterday, I had to pull out 5 pairs of jeans before I found a pair that fit comfortably enough that I could sit through an 8 hour shift at the library.
