Getting Fit: My Peloton Arrives Tomorrow
My Peloton is scheduled to arrive tomorrow and I couldn’t be more excited. I’ve been counting down since I placed my order. And the folks at Peloton have made it so easy. Every couple of days, they send an email with an update about my bike along with other important information like: what workouts to try prior to the arrival of the bike deciding how and where to place the bike what to expect when the bike is delivered It’s truly an experience and I haven’t even received my bike yet. Getting Fit: Waiting for My Peloton to Arrive
After stalking the website for a year, reading reviews, watching videos, and trying to justify the price, I finally made the decision to buy a Peloton. I ordered the Bike+ Essentials, which comes with bike shoes, 3 lb bike weights, and reversible workout mat. I chose this option because I didn’t want to stress over making the right bike shoe purchase. From what I’ve read, you can use your own bike shoes, you just need to make sure that they clip in for safety reasons. Here’s my last Cinchspiration update. I have to be honest and say that I haven’t been following the program as I should have over the last few weeks. In fact, I was completely off the program. But last week while I was at work, I was starving and while digging through my purse I found a Cinch bar, and was thrilled. Cannot believe I’ve hit the 3 month mark. Cannot believe I’ve hit the 3 month mark and I’m in the same exact place that I was in 3 months ago. cue the violins and sad clowns I am not a happy camper. I don’t have any weight loss pictures this week. See what had happened was… Um, I simply didn’t take any. I’m not gonna lie, I’m not happy with my progress so far. I thought this far into the Cinch Inch Weight Loss Program that I would have lost a decent amount of weight. Instead, I seem to keep losing the same 3 lbs over and over again. So, ummmmm, no scale picture today. But I will provide an update anyway. I’ve gained 1.4 lbs since last week but I’m not sweating it. Why, you may ask? Because I’ve lost 2 inches off my waist! Yes, 2 whole inches. Â I am beyond thrilled. I have not exercised at all. Last week, our church was crazy busy and I was just making it home from work with enough time to shower, make dinner for the family and get out of the house, so that left little time for anything else. So it seems I’ve reached the dreaded plateau. My weight seems to have gotten stuck between 156 lbs and 158 lbs. I guess I should be happy that I’m not gaining, but I thought for sure I would’ve broken that 155 lb barrier by now.I’m more than a bit disappointed to say the least. I think I’m going to have to look at my calorie intake and see if I need to add more calories. Wow! I cannot believe it’s been a month already! Gosh, the time has just flown by so quickly. That means that it’s time for me to do the whole full picture and measurement thing. Big heavy sigh. Last week was a total fail. I was on vacation with my family and wasn’t as aware of my eating habits as I should have been. I didn’t realize how important it is for me to stick to a regular eating schedule. I had my normal shake in the morning but I usually didn’t get a chance to eat my meal bar until after 2 PM, which meant that I was starving and literally on the prowl for more food.
