The View Blab Fest
Yay! The View is back and they have a week’s worth of Hot Topics to discuss. I am so ready…except for one thing, can we please stop talking about Tiger Woods? There are other topics that are much more interesting… Ok, moving on… Please… I hope... Hot Topic The Catholic Church and the Pedophile Scandal This entire thing has made me so incredibly sick. I think we have gotten to the point where everyone from the Pope on down needs to be held accountable for what has happened to the millions of children who have been molested/abused by priests or nuns. Whoopi stated that the Pope needs to come out…

The View: Learn to Use Your Words, People
Although The View Moms Brand Ambassador campaign has ended, I will still be writing the occasional post about any Hot Topics that appeal to me because, well, that’s what I do. So far, I’ve stayed out of the healthcare debate and I’ve pretty much avoided the downright rude comments directed at Elizabeth Hasselbeck, but now I won’t be silent any longer. For weeks now I’ve read comments on various The View fan pages that suggest that Elizabeth ought to shut up or that she is annoying or that her voice is grating, etc. There are also those who say they don’t watch the show because of Elizabeth. The problem isn’t her voice or that…

The View Blab Fest
Today is the last day of The View Moms Brand Ambassador campaign. Sniffle. I’ve had so much fun tweeting with The View Moms and writing (and reading) blog posts about the show. I’ll probably do some form of Hot Topic blogging in the future, just not on a regular basis like I’ve been doing for the campaign. So stay tuned and, as always, feel free to leave a comment, you know I enjoy the conversation. Hot Topics I Can’t Hold a Grudge Even if Oprah Says I Should Oprah says that you should have a 3 grudge rule ~ if someone rubs you the wrong way 3 times, hold a…

The View Blab Fest
I am so ready to get my blab on… I feel like it’s been forever since I’ve tweeted with the girls. And, boy, have I missed our daily chat fests. In fact, I have like two minutes to go grab a cup of coffee before the Hot Topics… So today’s edition of The View is dealing with women and addiction (drugs, alcohol and sex addiction). Hmmm, I wonder what prompted this topic? I only ask because there hasn’t been a deluge of news about addicted women or anything. Although there was that spate of time when it seemed like moms in minivans were causing accidents left and right due to alcohol. Today’s guest co~host…

The View Blab Fest
I haven’t been able to Tweet The View for the past few days because I am down to one eye and following twitter is a little bit difficult right now. I miss you, The View Moms! Therefore, I’ll be blogging the Hot Topics, so let the blabbing begin…. Hot Topics Rielle Hunter’s *ahem* GQ Spread Rielle Hunter is John Edward’s baby momma, for those who don’t know. Recently she did an interview for GQ Magazine and in the article she is posing seductively with some of her daughter’s toys. I won’t comment on the article or the affair (because, quite honestly, I could care less) but I will offer this tiny bit…

Whoopi’s back! Now all is right with The View. I absolutely love her ~ even when she’s being rude and obnoxious, she’s funny as heck. Hot Topics Whoopi Tips Her Dreads Whoopi’s been away from The View filming a movie with Kate Hudson in New Orleans. While there she had a little tour of the city and stated that she was “tipping her dreads” to Brad Pitt for all the hard work he has put into rebuilding the 9th Ward. Apparently he is doing some marvelous things there. I’m happy that she gave an update on my adopted city. Betcha didn’t know I used to party live there back in…

The View Blab Fest
Today I woke up with such a massive headache that I didn’t think I’d get to watch The View. But I did it. Sometimes I can be such a trooper. Anyway, it was worth watching through one squinty eye so that I could keep up a running commentary with The View Brand Ambassadors on Twitter. Anyway, you know how it goes, grab a cup of coffee (100% Columbian Coffee, if you please) and let’s talk… Hot Topics Naomi Campbell She’s been hitting folks again. Are any of us surprised? This time it was her driver, who suffered a busted eye from being hit in the back of the head, yet…

The View Blab Fest
So the ladies walked onto the set to some incredibly regal sounding music, which I, of course commented on…. Um, I guess if I had watched more of the Olympics I would have known that it was the Canadian National Anthem. Doh! My genius was showing. My wrap~up today is incredibly brief. Why? Because Dish Network and the weather have conspired against me in a tag team match. Last week the show was cut short because of the “snurricane” and today the show was cut short because the satellite went out. *sigh* Hot Topics The Olympics I’m proud of our country and all of the athletes who competed in the…

The View Blab Fest
At 11 AM EST it’s coffee and chat time at my house ’cause that’s when I flip the channel to The View and get ready to start laughing and yelling. Thanks to the “snurricane”, the first 5 minutes of the show were preempted by a weather update (um, thank you, Mother Nature, I’d appreciate it if you didn’t cause problems during The View again). Fortunately, the show came in just in time for me to catch the tail end of the following conversation… Hot Topics Sherri Broke the Dress Code Ok, so Sherri admitted to reaching into a dressing room and foisting someone’s dress for an awards banquet because the…

Today’s episode of The View was dedicated to the topic of infertility. Now I have to admit, I have never had any issues with infertility. I’m the mother of 5 beautiful children, so I cannot imagine the heartbreak that comes with trying to have a baby. I have had a miscarriage and I imagine that feeling of loss is duplicated monthly for those who are trying to conceive. So my heart, thoughts and prayers go out to all of you who are dealing with this problem. I pray that you find peace, strength and love in whatever decisions you have to make about your situation. Listening to Sherri and the…
