It’s Sunday night and I’m sitting here watching Home Town while I write this post. I don’t watch the show as much as I used to, but when I do, the first thing I do is check out Erin’s wardrobe. I love how eclectic her style is. One of these days I’m gonna have to put together an Erin inspired look. Maybe I should start putting together a Pinterest board now
WHAT I WORE
How fun is this Apron Dress by Kantha Bae? I’ve worn Apron Dresses on the blog before, as they’re some of my favorite pieces to wear. They’re incredibly versatile and can be worn as a tunic or dress. There aren’t any snaps or buttons, so it simply slips over your head and adjusts by pulling the back either closer to the body or further apart.
Because each piece is made from vintage Kantha saris, every apron dress is going to be unique. Furthermore, each piece is reversible, but I tend to pick a side and stick to it.
I rarely wear jeggings. I’m more of a flare leg or bootcut girl, but it was cold that day and I wanted to keep my legs covered. Socks over the jeggings just took me back to my high school days. LOL You remember that right? Or was that just a me thing?
The next time I wear this Apron Dress, I’ll show you how it looks layered over a dress. It’s a super cute look.
WHERE I WORE IT
I had my first photography project for 2024. A former coworker and friend asked me to take some pictures of her for an event. Most of our photos were taken indoors, which is hard during this time of year — not a lot of natural light. I think one of my new goals for 2024 is to learn how to use off camera flash {OFC}. I have the lighting system, I just don’t know how to use it. Anyway, this is what I wore for the shoot. It’s comfortable and has a lot of pockets for when I’m switching up lenses and need a place to put my lens caps.
