Ya know, it seems like every time I start using a product or get hooked on a TV show, Jericho, anyone? it gets discontinued and I’m left scrambling to find a replacement… And so it is with my favorite feed reader, Google Reader. This year is a year of celebration for me. Not that I don’t celebrate every year, but this year I turned forty. Actually, I turned forty on yesterday and today I’m celebrating my eighteenth wedding anniversary. So often when focusing on the news, we highlight the bad and ignore the good, well, this week, I want it all good… 1. A United Airlines crew held up a flight so that a man could make his connecting flight in order to be with his mom as she lay dying. Seriously, this made my eyes well up at my desk… A man who was flying from California to Texas to be by his mom’s side missed his connecting flight and became distraught. Once the flight crew found out what happened, they offered the man some tissues and their apologies. In the meantime, the pilot called the connecting pilot…
