He has blessed me with so much: good health, a loving family {some by blood, many by choice}, friends who mean the world to me, and this platform that allows me to reach so many with the truth of His love and grace. So often when focusing on the news, we highlight the bad and ignore the good, well, this week, I want it all good… 1. A United Airlines crew held up a flight so that a man could make his connecting flight in order to be with his mom as she lay dying. Seriously, this made my eyes well up at my desk… A man who was flying from California to Texas to be by his mom’s side missed his connecting flight and became distraught. Once the flight crew found out what happened, they offered the man some tissues and their apologies. In the meantime, the pilot called the connecting pilot…

Street Photography {In the Dark Room}
I like to think I’m brave but I’m not. At least not when it comes to taking out my camera in public spaces. Even at tourist spots, I get nervous when I pull out out my camera and start shooting. So this week’s theme for the 365 Project: 2013 Edition was particularly challenging. We had to go out and capture street scenes; impromptu pictures that tell a story. An African American nurse is suing a Michigan hospital because it granted a father’s request that “no African American nurses take care of his baby.” While making the request, the father flashed a tat that looked similar to a swastika. sigh Instead of denying the request, the charge nurse reassigned the African American nurses and then put up a notice on the clipboard that read: “No African American nurses to take care of baby.” Are you serious? How to Create a Watermark Using PicMonkey {In the Dark Room}
I’m not a professional photographer, but I play one on my blog. Hahahaha I kill me. The hubs says I’m only funny to myself and the girl I shared a uterus with {that would be my twin sister} but I think I’m hilarious.
