Succulent Garden {Decorating}
This morning I woke up with one goal in mind ~ buy a succulent garden. I’ve always loved succulents. Actually, I’ve always loved plants but since I became a card carrying member of the Serial Plant Killers Anonymous Club, I’ve banned myself from buying any. But then I started spending an inordinant amount of time perusing succulent gardens on Pinterest and I decided that I had to have one. Not wanted but needed to have one. And my justification was that this little garden would look beautiful on my new coffee table once it finally arrives. Hello, week 3 of no living room furniture. Do you know how hard it…

Losing Weight and Getting Healthy #3 {#Cinchspiration}
Last week was a total fail. I was on vacation with my family and wasn’t as aware of my eating habits as I should have been. I didn’t realize how important it is for me to stick to a regular eating schedule. I had my normal shake in the morning but I usually didn’t get a chance to eat my meal bar until after 2 PM, which meant that I was starving and literally on the prowl for more food. I also wasn’t taking the 3~in~1 Cinch Boost as regularly as I should have. You’re supposed to take them 3 times a day, and I was barely managing 1 a…

Things That Leave Me Scratchin’ My Head {Coffee Talk}
1. This week the Supreme Court struck down legislation that makes it a crime to lie about winning military honors {also known as the Stolen Valor Act} on the grounds that it violates the First Amendment {free speech}. Ummm, there is so much wrong with that decision… First of all, how about the fact that it disrespects those who died, were injured or maimed for really winning military honors? Second of all, shouldn’t there be some things that are so sacred that they should be protected? And, yes, I realize that this is a slippery slope but I think our soldiers and vets deserve the utmost respect and honor. Boo…

Things That Leave Me Scratchin’ My Head {Coffee Talk}
1. So George Zimmerman’s defense team released the video of his re~enactment of the events surrounding the shooting death of Trayvon Martin, and I’ve heard that this may be the thing that gets him acquitted because it shows self defense. Ummm, what? NONE OF THIS WOULD HAVE HAPPENED HAD HE STAYED HIS TAIL IN THE CAR LIKE THE DISPATCHER SAID! 2. Have you seen the video of the kids bullying the 69~year~old bus monitor, Karen Klein? You can watch it by going here. I was absolutely floored. I cannot believe the level of disrespect those kids showed towards that lady, a senior citizen. How dare those kids fix their mouths…
