In the Neighborhood: Zoo Boo
We didn’t celebrate Halloween when I was growing up. Religious reasons. When I had my own children, I let them dress up when they were little, although I made it perfectly clear that I was not a fan. Once they hit junior high, they stopped dressing up, but they’d go to their grandma’s house to hand out candy to the neighborhood kids. This continued until we moved away from Pennsylvania.
